A LITTLE LATE

We played an all ager last night at The Little Fernwood with Neurospazm, IQ78 , and Zero Coping Skills. It was ZCS's EP release party , and it was such a wonderful time.

Every band was terrific , and the sound was super.
Thank you to ZCS for inviting us, and to everyone who showed up and made it such a special evening.

A GREAT LOSS FOR MUSIC

Sinead O'Connor has passed away .

From the beginning you knew she would not follow the status quo, from her having mainstream hits despite her shaved head, to the infamous tearing up of the pope's picture on amerikkkan television. The hypocritical u.s. audience booing her, despite the majority of them probably never setting foot in any house of worship , and completely missing the point of that powerful gesture. Fucking ignorant fools .
I continued to follow her long after she left the spotlight, and the music Sinead made was some of the most beautiful I have ever heard.
She was a real artist who put everything she had in everything she did .
May she rest in peace. Read a lovely article here.

GET THE KNIFE MANUAL 7" NOW !!!!

The new Knife Manual record is fucking awesome and you should go out and get it right now ! Unless you can't, of course. I can't stop listening to it . Straight up punk rock, no frills no fancy stuff. Right to the heart . I love it. Ditch Records or Cavity.
Thank you and good day.

MUCH NEEDED

I went to the Bishop's Green show at Lucky Bar last night, and it was just where I needed to be.
Neurospazm opened with their heavy thugpunk sound, followed by No Heart with their high energy Oi!/mod style, and both bands were fucking great ! Bishop's Green have that anthemic streetpunk sound down . It was such a positive vibe, and after all of the recent loss, it was much needed.
Again, I have to thank Esther for always being there and being committed to this scene. Thank you.
