THE ENTIRE FUCKING SYSTEM IS GUILTY

In the " land of the free ", the fucking pigs have a free pass to kill whoever they want to, especially if the victim is poor and Black . The kkkops are here to defend the system and it's property relations , and it was the same when obama was in power . Of course fuckface trump has encouraged this , but don't be fooled into thinking it's his doing. It has always been this way , and always will be until this shit is overthrown.

This repost is from July, but some of you might not be aware of it . Fuck the police.

America’s Pig-in-Chief Declares “No” to Any Federal Charges for Police Murder of Eric Garner

 | revcom.us

Almost exactly five years after New York City pigs murdered Eric Garner, Department of IN-Justice head William Barr announced that there would be no federal charges against the cop who killed Garner with a chokehold as he let out his last desperate words, “I can’t breathe.” None of the cops involved in killing Eric Garner has ever been punished, and now the Attorney General —who is “America’s top law enforcement official”—has given the stamp of approval to the murder.
On July 17, 2014, a bunch of cops on Staten Island surrounded and began to arrest Eric Garner, a 43-year-old Black man, for the “crime” of selling loose cigarettes. Millions of people saw and heard the video where one pig, Daniel Pantaleo, brought down Garner with a chokehold, and the other cops piled on. As was revealed earlier this year (after being kept under wraps for over four years), one cop on the scene texted their commander that Eric Garner was “most likely DOA.” And the commander’s response was: “Not a big deal.
Eric Garner was known to his family, friends, and neighbors as a generous man who helped settle disputes among the people. He had been married for over 20 years, had a son who was about to start college, five other children, and two grandchildren. To the pigs, all this was “not a big deal.”
A 2015 grand jury refused to bring any charges against Pantaleo or any of the other pigs for murdering Eric Garner. Earlier this year, the NYPD held a disciplinary hearing to determine whether Pantaleo broke department “protocol” by using a chokehold. In the years since he murdered Eric Garner, he has continued be on the force, on “desk duty.” At most, Pantaleo could be fired as a result of the hearing—and even that may not happen.
Now the message has come from the top levels of the U.S. government that the murder of Eric Garner was “not a big deal.” As we have said:
NOT A BIG DEAL!!! These four words totally capture the utter callousness of these pigs and of their entire system, for whom the incarceration of literally millions upon millions of people over the past decades is NOT A BIG DEAL… for whom evictions of hundreds of thousands of women, especially Black and Latino, is NOT A BIG DEAL… for whom the poisoning of countless children by lead—and more than that, the generations of youth that are condemned to oblivion even before they are born—is NOT A BIG DEAL.
As Bob Avakian says in his filmed speech Why We Need An Actual Revolution And How We Can Really Make Revolution, after naming just some of the thousands and thousands, especially Black, Latino and Native American, murdered by the police:
If this were the only thing wrong with this system, it would be more than enough reason to sweep it off the Earth!

Amazon Fires and Fake Tears from Pigs at the Trough at the G7

 | revcom.us

Way too many people are sitting around, waiting and hoping that the more reasonable-sounding, liberal wing of the capitalist-imperialist ruling classes—people like Emmanuel Macron and Angela Merkel in Europe and Obama and the Democrats in the U.S.—can be pressured to take real action on the global climate crisis which threatens humanity’s very existence.
Well, let’s look at what happened at the recent G7 summit meeting, an annual gathering of the biggest imperialist powers on the planet.
A war of words broke out between the liberal French President Macron and the fascist Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. The G7 was happening as over 40,000 fires raged in the Amazon rain forest in Brazil. Posturing as big defenders of the environment, Macron and the G7 heads (except for Trump) warned that the Amazon fires were a grave threat and demanded that Bolsonaro take action to stop them. And they offered to help with funds.
But what’s the real story?
  • The G7 countries collectively account for 45 percent of the greenhouse gases ever emitted around the world. But they have yet to meet the pledges to cut down greenhouse gas emissions that they signed as part of the Paris climate agreement three years ago—limits which were seriously inadequate to begin with.
  • The European Union is a major trading partner of Brazil and one of the largest importers of beef from the Amazon—and cattle ranching and the export of beef are major drivers of the Amazon fires.
  • The $22 million pledged by G7 toward fighting the fires is a piddling amount from seven countries whose combined net wealth is over $300 trillion.
  • Macron and other G7 leaders spent the summit carefully not saying a word that might offend Trump, the biggest climate criminal on the planet as head of a fascist regime that has thrown out even any pretense of acting on climate change.1
In the face of the actual reality, it is self-delusion and irresponsible bullshit to count on the representatives of this planet-killing system to suddenly come to the rescue!
1. Trump sat out the meeting that the other G7 members held to discuss climate change and refused to contribute to the $22 million fund unless it was done with the consent of Bolsonaro—who turned down the funds anyway. [back]

WORLD LEADERS IN RACISM

The u.s. government is indeed a leader, a leader in genocide, invasions, and racism on a scale no one has seen before, and had been throughout it's fucked up history. And it hasn't stopped.

FIGHT ICE RAIDS, SMASH ALL BORDERS!

MARYLAND, August 27— “La Lucha Obrera no Tiene Frontera” and “Racism Means We Have to Fight Back” rang out in Hyattsville, Maryland to protest raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Workers demanded solidarity with immigrants and formerly incarcerated persons in this sanctuary city.
This rally was called at a forum on immigration the previous week where Progressive Labor Party and friends joined to plan a response against the rising deportations. Participants concluded that capitalism creates borders to divide and scare workers, when in fact no worker should be considered “illegal,” and no barriers to movement should exist since the working class is global by definition. Communists insist on smashing all borders, a goal that can only be achieved by waging a worldwide working-class revolution.
Workers embrace red ideas
We distributed over 200 flyers at the rally, with contact information for building a rapid response network to ICE raids in Hyattsville. Workers in the neighborhood received 40 copies of CHALLENGE newspaper; seven signed up for further contact.
Two workers related their struggles with ICE, and we pledged our solidarity with them. Two local residents spontaneously brought us Gatorade and snacks as a token of solidarity and appreciation for this antiracist demonstration. This shows that the working class is looking for leadership and fightback. It is up to communists to give that leadership.
ICE + PD: state terrorists collaborate
The protest was organized following a petition campaign in which PLP participated to demand an end to local police collaboration with ICE. CASA, an immigrant rights organization, documented nine instances over the preceding months in which local police called in ICE, despite assurances that they would not do so.
When the Assistant Chief of Police Hector Velez was confronted with the irrefutable facts, he denied them as impossible because such actions would have violated police policy. This shows how the bosses’ laws are abided to the extent that it serves them.
The police chief himself was forced to admit to one case, but claimed that the cop was acting in good faith; the cop was “confused” over the difference between a civil and a criminal ICE warrant. Such hypocrisy is standard police operating procedure! Meanwhile, it is too late for the people deported as a result of this cop’s “confusion.” The police here exposed themselves as the ruling-class agents that they are. They serve and protect the rulers—their banks, property, and interests.
Reform is about bosses’ infighting
The petition drive was highlighted by the vocal presence of petitioners at several political events, which ultimately forced the County Executive Angela Alsobrooks to issue an official statement confirming that the police were not to cooperate with ICE for noncriminal deportations. She further announced that the General Orders of the police department would be changed to include an explicit statement to that effect, and that the policy would be presented at roll call in all police districts.
The liberal politicians would like to play themselves as the good guys. This defiance to ICE is not about protecting working-class lives; it’s about their own infighting. While Trump’s deportation sweeps represent the isolationist America-first faction of the U.S. ruling class, the Democratic-led politicians and government represent the dominant finance imperialist wing of the U.S. ruling class. This main wing is spearheaded by the Rockefellers, JP Morgan, and ExxonMobil. While the main wing needs immigration and a multiracial army for world war, the subordinate wing’s interests are primarily national. These domestically oriented capitalists, spearheaded by the Koch and Mercer families, are contesting the main wing’s control. They have forged an opportunistic alliance with the unpredictable U.S. President Donald Trump and his white supremacist base. They are out to try to tear down the post-World War II liberal world order and multinational institutions like NATO. His domestic and foreign policy directives are tailored to benefit his wealthy, self-interested benefactors more than the long-term strategic interests of global U.S. imperialism.
Given that context, county executive Alsobrooks’s decision is part of a broader effort of the liberal rulers trying to inject their ideology into top-down reform movements.
This modest reform will not reverse the anti-immigrant attacks of U.S. capitalists on our brothers and sisters from around the world. The vicious ICE raids against this month’s Mississippi poultry workers alone demonstrate their determination to terrorize our class. In Maryland, we must maintain momentum in building a rapid response team to oppose ICE on the streets and in the courthouse, demand jobs for returning residents, and continue to work with our friends to support new immigrants arriving in the city and county.
These class struggles will serve as a training ground for a mass communist revolution that obliterates the bosses and their borders and unifies our class on a global scale

US 14-year-old admits killing five family members

A map showing Elkmont, Alabama
A 14-year-old boy in Alabama has confessed to killing five members of his own family, US police say.
Those killed were the boy's father, stepmother and siblings, local media report. Three were found dead at the scene while the other two died in hospital.
Police say the boy, who has not been named, is co-operating with officials.
There is no indication yet on any motive nor how he obtained the weapon used, a 9mm handgun.
The shooting happened late on Monday in the town of Elkmont.
According to investigators, the boy initially called police to say he had heard gunfire coming from his family home.
He later confessed to the attack, the Limestone County Sheriff's Department said.
The victims have been named as John Sisk, 38; Mary Sisk, 36, and three siblings who were five, six, and six months old.
Mary Sisk, originally of New Orleans, was a special education teacher for the Huntsville City schools district, according to a biography of her on the Mountain Gap schools website.
School officials there say they are providing mental health counsellors to students at the school.
Seven people were killed at the weekend in a series of random shootings in Texas, with the suspect identified as a 36-year-old man recently fired from his job.
Last month, separate attacks in El Paso and Dayton left 31 people dead

FREEDOM THROUGH SLAVERY

It's worth repeating and it's worth knowing, that all of their hollow rhetoric and bullying is built on a foundation of complete and total slavery . How could the " leader of the free world " have been built in such a bloody way , and still claim to to be what they are not ? Nothing has been done to rectify any of their history , and as long as this system is in place, you can only expect the occasional half-assed apology , if even that . Time for it all to go .

1619-2019: Introducing A New Series:

The Oppression of Black People and the Revolutionary Struggle to Emancipate Humanity

 | revcom.us

There is the potential for something of unprecedented beauty to arise out of unspeakable ugliness: Black people playing a crucial role in putting an end, at long last, to this system which has, for so long, not just exploited but dehumanized, terrorized and tormented them in a thousand ways—putting an end to this in the only way it can be done—by fighting to emancipate humanity, to put an end to the long night in which human society has been divided into masters and slaves, and the masses of humanity have been lashed, beaten, raped, slaughtered, shackled and shrouded in ignorance and misery.
—Bob Avakian
Four centuries ago, in August 1619, the first slaves in the colonies that became the United States were brought to Jamestown, Virginia. They were approximately 20 men and women kidnapped captives, most likely from the kingdom of Ndongo in modern-day Angola. Bought by the Jamestown settlers from English pirates who had seized them from a Portuguese slave ship, they were put to work on the tobacco fields of the South. They formed part of over 12.5 million kidnapped and enslaved captives from Africa shipped across the Atlantic Ocean in what is known as the Middle Passage, a voyage of misery and death in horrific conditions of brutal whippings, casual violence and the rape of women captives. Captives who were sick were thrown overboard, so often that sharks would follow the ships. Nearly two million did not survive this journey.
One of the cruelest instruments of commerce, the slave ship defined and shaped America, in conjunction with “the whipping machine,” critical to cotton production in the slave states of the South, and capitalist accumulation of wealth across the emergent United States.
Among some sections of liberal and progressive people, this anniversary is bringing forth a long-needed and welcome reckoning with the actual history of this country, not only the unspeakable horrors and brutality of slavery but how it defined, shaped and put its stamp on every facet of American society from its very origins and founding. It is calling forth beginning examination of and starting to touch on the continuing legacy of slavery in white supremacy and the oppression of Black people, and how it is originating in and still woven into the fabric of this system of capitalism and this society, foundational to the wealth and position of this country today. For example, this is manifest in the 1619 Project of the New York Times, among a range of works from other intellectuals and artists.
As a seminal anniversary and in the midst of this ferment, revcom.us and associated social media aim to play—through the fall and coming year—a vital and needed role in the questioning, discussion and debates, centered around the historic breakthroughs and extensive works of Bob Avakian (BA) on the actual character of the relationship between capitalism and white supremacy, and how the latter could actually—and only—be overcome through a revolution aimed at the emancipation of all humanity… a communist revolution.
To this end, we will have a series focused on the theme of The Oppression of Black People and the Revolutionary Struggle to Emancipate Humanity. It really does matter, from the perspective and goals of making revolution and emancipating humanity, that people follow through on this reckoning and confrontation, learning more about the history of this country and its founding and foundations. It matters, even more, that people follow through on their convictions and go beyond their comfort zone, to logical and scientific conclusions such as what BA says in the film Why We Need An Actual Revolution And How We Can Really Make Revolution:
White supremacy and capitalism—they have been completely interwoven and tightly “stitched together” through the whole development of this country, down to today; to attempt to really put an end to white supremacy while maintaining the system of capitalism would tear the entire fabric of the country apart. White supremacy and capitalism—it is not possible to overcome and finally abolish the one without overthrowing and finally abolishing the other.
There are sharp choices and futures posed now.
First, there is the MAGA-style open re-assertion and imposition of white supremacy with potentially genocidal implications.
Second, there are efforts like that of the Times and many progressive public intellectuals to open up and make available the actual history of this country, in an effort to “save America” or, in the words of Nikole Hannah-Jones, the editor and driving force behind the Times’ project, to cast Black people as “the perfecters of this democracy” within the myth and comforting narrative of America as constantly striving for and gradually achieving “a more perfect union.”
Third, there is the real urgent necessity of getting organized now for an ACTUAL revolution to overthrow and defeat the system of American capitalism-imperialism, and the white supremacy woven into its fabric. As Bob Avakian has characterized:
There will never be a revolutionary movement in this country that doesn’t fully unleash and give expression to the sometimes openly expressed, sometimes expressed in partial ways, sometimes expressed in wrong ways, but deeply, deeply felt desire to be rid of these long centuries of oppression [of Black people]. There’s never gonna be a revolution in this country, and there never should be, that doesn’t make that one key foundation of what it’s all about.

Follow revcom.us throughout the autumn, as we not only bring forward the seminal work of BA on this, but enter into and bring that work to bear on the crucial debate on the cause of the problem, and the actual solution.

THEY HATE BOOKS AND THOSE WHO READ THEM

trump supporters have decided that Revolution Books in Berkeley is the enemy. Seriously, they have nothing better to do ? Feeding the hungry , helping the sick, things of that nature ? It isn't surprising that they've chosen a bookstore to target. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they tried to shut down EVERY bookstore in the country, the fucking braindead apes .

A Defiant Day in Berkeley Defending and Supporting Revolution Books!

 | revcom.us

From Revolution Books, Berkeley:
In the face of another fascist attack on Revolution Books in Berkeley—a "No to Marxism" protest by a group of pro-Trump fascists—people poured into Revolution Books and into the streets of Berkeley to say NO! Starting around 10 am, anti-fascist protesters started gathering in People's Park, and then took off marching toward the tiny fascist rally. Members of the Revolution Club agitated in the crowd, and as the march passed the bookstore, the chants rang out, "When Rev Books is under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back!" At 11:30 am, Revolution Books held a press conference to a packed crowd of supporters, new and old. After Reiko Redmonde and Rafael Kadaris spoke on behalf of the bookstore and the National Revolution Tour, we heard statements of support from artists, poets, authors, bookstore owners, local political figures, and others.
At the end of the press conference, there was a commotion outside of the bookstore as the fascists tried to march toward the store. Bookstore supporters and anti-fascists linked arms in front of the store, while many pushed forward into the street, driving the few flag-waving fascists back up Telegraph Avenue, accompanied by over 50 heavily armed riot pigs. Protesters chanted "1, 2, 3, 4, slavery, genocide and war, 5, 6, 7, 8, America was never great," and "Nazi book burners, get the fuck out of Berkeley!" After the fascists left, dozens of curious University of California, Berkeley students—who received an email the day before from the university administration warning them to stay away from the protests—stood around Bancroft and Telegraph Avenue discussing what had happened and digging into questions of reform vs revolution, and capitalism vs communism, with the Revolution Club.
Throughout the day, hundreds of people came in and out of the store, browsing and mingling, and buying books. Most importantly, lots and lots of new people were introduced to this intellectual, political, and cultural center of a movement for an actual revolution, and the new communism and leadership of Bob Avakian that is at the core of that revolution. One Cal freshman who just moved to Berkeley was thrilled by the whole experience today and bought BAsics by Bob Avakian because he said he had to find out what this is all about. This anti-communist counter-revolutionary attack was definitely met with MORE REVOLUTION!
Stay tuned to revcom.us and to Revolution Books Berkeley (@RevolutionBooksB) on Twitter and Facebook for latest developments.
