The document, signed by the so-called Militarized Communist Party of Peru (MPCP), contains disparaging remarks against former president Dina Boluarte, whom they call a "puppet," and against the leader of Fuerza Popular, Keiko Fujimori, whom they accuse of being a "murderer."
The remnants of the Maoist subversive group accuse the State of maintaining a government that serves interests foreign to the population and describe the electoral processes as mechanisms to "legitimize the new oppressors and slaughterers of the people."
“What is the purpose of the Peruvian Congress? The 130 thugs in suits and ties only serve to establish and approve laws that leave the perpetrators of genocide against unarmed masses unpunished, shield the corrupt, and criminalize legitimate popular protests,” the letter reads. It also attacks the traditional political parties, stating that they are “rotten to the core with corruption.”
