ABSOLUTELY TRUE

The Popular Front: On the 1000th day since the genocide: Shame will haunt all of humanity and will remain a black stain on the forehead of the international system.

Statement issued by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine

On the thousandth day of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip

At this bloody juncture, after a thousand days of the genocidal war waged by the Zionist occupation against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms that what has happened and is happening is a systematic project of genocide and ethnic cleansing being carried out in full view of the world, with political, military and media cover from international powers that bear full responsibility for the continuation of this crime, the most heinous crime known to humanity in the modern era, as these thousand days of bombing, starvation, displacement and genocide constitute an attempt to break the will of our people, impose displacement and liquidate their national cause.

In light of this, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms the following:

First: The continuation of the genocidal war for a thousand consecutive days, without the killing, displacement, or siege stopping for a single moment, constitutes a disgrace to all of humanity, and a moral and political scandal that will remain a black stain on the forehead of the international system and its institutions, which failed to protect international law and humanity, and whose silence and complicity contributed to prolonging this crime.

Second: This genocide would not have continued without the direct partnership, military support, and political cover provided by the American administrations, along with the complicity and inaction of the international community, which makes them all partners in the crime.

Third: The crimes of ethnic cleansing against our people in the Gaza Strip are still ongoing, while the Zionist war machine continues its aggression without any deterrent, in an extension of the criminal escalation that began a thousand days ago, and which constituted an extension of years of occupation that began with the Nakba of our Palestinian people, and in which nothing has changed except the tools of killing and the pretexts of aggression.

Fourth: What is presented as a “ceasefire agreement” has not yet provided a gateway to calm or protection for our people, as the occupation has sought to turn it into a cover for continuing the aggression in various forms, through the policy of starvation and siege, intermittent bombing, humanitarian blackmail, and daily terrorism against civilians.

Fifth: Portraying what is happening in the Gaza Strip as mere “violations” and part of a “calming process” represents a deliberate falsification of the truth, and constitutes a political and media cover for the continuation of the genocide, in an attempt to normalize it and remove it from the circle of international accountability.

Sixth: The fact that most international parties are directing their efforts towards pressuring our Palestinian people and their resistance to make further concessions, while the occupation is left free despite its explicit declaration of its intention to continue aggression and genocide, reveals the extent of the blatant bias and double standards that govern the positions of these parties.

Seventh: We call upon the international community, the guarantors, and the mediators to compel the occupation to cease its aggression and to reach an immediate, comprehensive, and sustainable ceasefire, with the entry of the Administrative Committee into the sector to assume its duties in managing the transitional phase. This includes opening the crossings, ensuring the flow of humanitarian and medical aid without restrictions, and evacuating the wounded and sick for treatment abroad as a matter of urgency.

Eighth: Our Palestinian people, after a thousand days of steadfastness and sacrifices, remain committed to their firm and inalienable national rights, foremost among them the right to self-determination and the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. Policies of extermination, starvation, or blackmail will not succeed in taking away these rights or breaking their will.

Ninth: History is recording today every stance, every silence, and every act of complicity. The blood of our martyrs and the steadfastness of our people will remain a curse upon the Zionist war criminals and their supporters, and a living witness to this stage. The will of our people to hold on to their land and defend their existence and national rights will prevail, and a war of extermination that lasted a thousand days will not be able to break it or abolish their right to freedom, return, and independence.

Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs, a speedy recovery to our wounded, freedom for our prisoners, and victory for our people and their resistance.
