THEY ARE ALL FUCKING PARASITES

I am so glad it's election day. Now maybe all the lying sides can just shut the fuck up instead of finger pointing and name calling . Those stupid fucking ads laying blame on each other are fucking nauseating.

It's always the same thing. They get in and proceed to bray on about how much the previous government fucked up and that's why now they can't do anything. Meanwhile, we just go to work , pay bills and carry on with our lives.
These fuckers get a full pension after only 6 years of lying and stealing from us. Some people work over 60 years and barely get anything.

Fuck all of these parasites.

THIS IS KKKANADA

Say what you want about other countries , but hateful shit happens here all the time. It helps no one when you ignore it or brush it off.

The kkkops say they are confident that this was not an act of terrorism . Why don't they ask the people attending this event if they felt terrorized ?
And of course all of the political parasites will try to get some mileage out of this tragedy.

9 people killed after SUV rams into Vancouver street festival

The latest:

  • Filipino community festival was wrapping up when SUV plowed into crowd.

  • Suspect held by festival-goers until police arrived: chief.

  • Eyewitness says driver "just slammed the pedal down and rammed into hundreds of people."

  • Support line set up for victims.

Nine people have been killed and multiple others injured after the driver of a black SUV slammed into a crowd Saturday evening at a street festival in Vancouver celebrating the contributions of the Filipino-Canadian community, police say.

It happened shortly after 8 p.m. near East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street, where the Lapu Lapu Day Block Party was winding down, after drawing up to 100,000 people through the day.

Interim Vancouver Police Chief Steve Rai says a 30-year-old Vancouver man is now in custody.

Vancouver Coastal Health told The Canadian Press it had confirmed a "code orange," indicating a mass casualty event. The health authority was not able to confirm the number of injured or dead as of late Saturday night, but shortly after 3 a.m. local time Sunday, Vancouver police said on social media that there were nine fatalities.

Earlier, videos posted on social media showed emergency crews at the scene, with several people lying on the ground — some appearing injured.

WATCH | Aftermath captured on video:

Rai, in a midnight news briefing, said bystanders held the suspect until police could arrive. He said the man was known to police "in certain circumstances."

Rai said the event had been assessed and monitored for security with stakeholders — including those in charge of garbage trucks used in the past to block streets from traffic.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Vancouver police major crime section.

"We are confident that this incident was not an act of terrorism," Vancouver police said on X.

Lapu Lapu Day is named after an Indigenous resistance fighter in the Philippines who fought against Spanish colonization in the 16th Century.

Saturday's event was the second annual street celebration of the day in Vancouver, and organizers had said it was an opportunity to mark "the enduring impact on Filipino values, notably the spirit of bayanihan — the collective community effort."

After South Asians and Chinese, the Filipino community is the third-largest cultural group in B.C. Statistics Canada says more than 174,000 people in the community represent 3.5 per cent of the province's total population.

'It was like a war zone'

Kris Pangilinan, a Toronto-based journalist, flew to Vancouver to attend the Lapu Lapu Day celebrations. He described the event as a beautiful day filled with wonderful performances — but said the aftermath has left him shaken.

"It's something you don't expect to see in your lifetime," he told CBC's Stephen Quinn.

Pangilinan said the show was wrapping up, and the festival's main act — Filipino-American rapper Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas — had already finished his set. Crews were in the process of tearing down the stage, tents and vendor stalls when the incident happened.

He said crews lifted a barricade that had been blocking traffic to allow a vehicle to enter. While some cars were being guided carefully through the crowds, Pangilinan said one car suddenly plowed through the street at high speed.

"Then we realized what was happening and everybody started yelling," he said. "[The driver] just slammed the pedal down and rammed into hundreds of people. It was like seeing a bowling ball hit — all the bowling pins and all the pins flying up in the air."

Pangilinan, who has previously worked in news, said witnessing what happened in person was overwhelming.

"As someone who worked in news, you get numb to seeing these things — but seeing it in real life is just shocking," he said.

"It was like a war zone.... There were bodies all over the ground," he said, adding he saw "countless" people injured.

Another eyewitness, Joshua Polintan, expressed his anger over what happened.

"I am mad at whoever did that because why would you do that?" he said. "I don't know if it was a hate crime ... but it was just wrong."

Organizer says support available

In a statement posted on Instagram, Filipino BC said it was devastated by the tragedy and urged those affected to seek help.

"We are still finding the words to express the deep heartbreak brought on by this senseless tragedy. We are devastated for the families and victims," the post read.

The organization encouraged community members to check in with one another and access available mental health resources.

"Victim services are available 24/7 for those who witnessed or experienced trauma by calling or texting 1-800-563-0808 or emailing 211-victimlinkbc@uwbc.ca."

Mayor, politicians react

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh made a campaign stop at the festival and left minutes before the incident happened.

Singh said his thoughts are with the victims, their families and Vancouver's Filipino community, "who were coming together today to celebrate resilience."

"This is a festival with kids there. There are families there," he said. "I don't have the words to describe the pain that I'm feeling right now thinking about the lives that were lost."

Liberal Leader Mark Carney posted on X that he is "devastated to hear about the horrific events" in Vancouver and offered his condolences to the "loved ones of those killed and injured."

Carney had been scheduled to spend part of Sunday in British Columbia, but his campaign issued a statement early Sunday saying that his plans have been delayed.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said on X, "My thoughts are with the Filipino community and all the victims targeted by this senseless attack."

They both thanked first responders.

B.C. Premier David Eby said in a post to X that he's "heartbroken" to hear about the lives lost and those injured at the festival.

Vancouver South MP Harjit Sajjan, who grew up in the neighbourhood and was a police officer in Vancouver for several years, arrived at the scene to show his support.

"The community means so much to me and I was just wanted to be here for them," said Harjit, a former minister of defence who is not seeking re-election.

Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim said he was "shocked and deeply saddened" by the "horrific incident."

King Charles also sent condolences in a post on social media.

"Our hearts and prayers go out to all those whose lives have been shattered by such a desperate tragedy and we send our deepest possible sympathy at a most agonizing time for so many in Canada," he said.

Vancouver Sun Run to go as planned

The Vancouver Sun Run, one of the biggest 10-kilometre runs in North America, is scheduled for Sunday. The event is expected to see tens of thousands of participants.

Interim police Chief Rai said the event will take place as planned.

"There's no change .... We will have a full robust deployment and it will occur as planned with security," he said.

SADDER THAN SAD

We lost another amazing person the other day . His name is Trey Helten, and he was a selfless advocate for the people on the lowest rungs of society.

Talented , funny, smart , he was the complete deal.

He was well loved in both the punk rock and recovery communities, and often those worlds would collide . Trey will be missed by many many people. This will be felt for a long time.
Rest In Peace my Friend.

Please read his obituary .

GENOCIDE MADE IN THE USA

It cannot be emphasized enough that the amerikkkan fascist regime is fully supporting the fascist israeli regime in their mission of committing genocide against the Palestinian population.

It should also be kept in mind that the mainstream parties in kkkanada also support israeli fascism to a greater or lesser degree, from the whole " they have a right to defend themselves " bullshit, to the watered down liberal hogwash of " well, you know, everyone should live in peace ".

Fuck imperialism and all forms of national oppression.

Israel Threatens Further Escalation of Gaza Genocide—

Danger of “Impending Famine and Mass Death”

This past week—with full U.S. arming and backing—Israel slaughtered civilians, bombed hospitals, forced more displacements, seized more land, and drew the noose of starvation and disease even tighter on Gaza.

And Israel threatened to escalate its military onslaught even further with “tremendous force, from the air, land and sea” along with more displacements, and a total blockade of any food, water, medicine, fuel, or any other goods into Gaza.

The major U.S. media, such as the New York Times, describes all this as “Israel’s war against Hamas.” But as we document here, this isn’t a war—it’s a slaughter, a genocide. And it’s not mainly directed at the reactionary Islamic fundamentalists of Hamas—it’s directed at the 2.2 million Palestinian people in Gaza.1

Israel’s goal isn’t releasing hostages, as it claims. Its central goal is making it impossible for the Palestinian people to survive as a people on their historic homeland, and very likely trying to drive Palestinians out of Gaza entirely, as the MAGA fascist Donald Trump has repeatedly called for.2

Here are some of its key dimensions, again demonstrated this past week:

Mass Slaughter of Civilians

Every day there are new, gut-wrenching reports of civilians—men, women, and children—being killed or maimed indiscriminately by Israeli bombs, missiles, and tanks, often dozens at a time.

  • On April 19, 300 casualties—92 dead and 219 wounded—were counted over the past 48 hours.
  • 34 of these humans were killed on April 18, including 10 members of the same family when their home in Khan Younis was hit.
A makeshift tent camp in Gaza City for Palestinians displaced by Israeli airstrikes, April 19, 2025.

A makeshift tent camp in Gaza City for Palestinians displaced by Israeli airstrikes, April 19, 2025.    Photo: AP

  • April 17, it was reported that Israel struck two different tent camps, killing 17, including children. “A 12-year-old disabled child, he burned to death in his wheelchair,” one witness testified. “We carried him. Even his bones had melted as we pulled him out. This is the child’s wheelchair. A child, 12 years old!”
  • Palestinians are being killed in areas that Israel has designated as “safe zones.” One is Mawasi, a strip of land in southern Gaza along the coast, where many have sought refuge and are living in tents. The UN reports at least 23 Israeli attacks there. Israel no longer considers it a “humanitarian zone,” yet it’s unclear if it has bothered to tell people there of the change.
  • During the previous week, “the Israel Defense Forces assassinated the commander of Hamas' Shujaiyeh battalion,” Haaretz reports. “The air strike hit a four-story building and killed around 40 people, most of them women and children... eight adjacent houses were damaged, and among the dead were 15 members of a single family.” Massacring 40 people in order to kill one military opponent (if that’s what actually happened) is a war crime which highlights the criminal nature of Israel’s entire campaign!
  • More than 1,700 Gazans have been confirmed killed3 in the month since Israel unilaterally broke its ceasefire with Hamas—but the actual toll could be much, much higher. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 62,614 Palestinians including 17,492 children. Some 14,222 people are believed to be trapped under rubble and the number of injured totals over 111,588.
  • Nonetheless, after this week of horrors, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu called Israel a “nation that desires life,” which was supposedly “fighting for our very existence,” and therefore refuses to end its Gaza slaughter.

Tightening the Noose of Starvation and Disease

  • Some two million Gazans depend on incoming aid for survival. Yet for the last month, Israel has imposed a total blockade on Gaza, refusing to allow in urgently needed aid and supplies, including food, water, medicines, fuel, and more. The aid delivered during the 42 day cease-fire between Israel and Hamas has now nearly run out. The situation in Gaza has now reached extreme crisis proportions with the potential for “impending famine and mass death.”
  • Thousands of Gaza’s children are suffering from severe malnutrition, and now Israel’s military campaign has forced over 60 percent of its malnutrition centers to close. UN agencies are warning of irreversible harm to Gaza's children.
  • The vast majority of Gazans are now living in tents or temporary shelters amidst the ruins of Israel’s bombing. They are crammed into smaller and smaller areas as 69 percent of Gaza's territory is now under evacuation orders or Israeli military control.
  • Access to clean water has sharply declined. Over 90 percent of families now lack access to potable water (usable drinking, cooking, washing, etc.) due to Israel’s attacks.
  • Sanitation conditions have deteriorated with waste disposal and sewage pumping stations unable to function due to evacuation orders.
  • “Survival itself is now slipping out of reach and the humanitarian system is at breaking point,” the representatives of 12 humanitarian groups said in a joint statement.
  • The UN warned that the situation in Gaza may amount to genocide. "Israel appears to be inflicting on Palestinians in Gaza conditions of life increasingly incompatible with their continued existence as a group in Gaza," it said.
  • In the face of all this horror and suffering, this past week even Israel’s defense minister suggested the blockade could be eased. He was immediately rebuked by Netanyahu government officials for even thinking about it! He quickly announced there would be no letup.

Bombing Hospitals

  • On April 13, Israel bombed Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, the last functioning hospital in northern Gaza.4
  • On April 15, Israel bombed the Kuwait Specialty Field Hospital in Khan Younis. The Hospital was treating a minimum of 3,500 patients every day, according to a doctor there. “The hospital is providing a solution to the people in light of the collapse of the heath sector in Gaza,” he said. This collapse is due to Israel’s relentless destruction of Gaza’s entire infrastructure—its healthcare system, its food production, its housing, its schools and universities, its places of worship, its museums, even its cemeteries.

Gaza’s One Working Bakery: Forced to Keep Moving

  • The World Central Kitchen’s mobile bakery is Gaza’s last working bakery. Its output is constricted by the flour shortage due to Israel’s blockade, so the amount of bread it produces is a mere fraction of what the people need. Now—in order to continue “keeping people alive,” it’s being forced to move from place to place due to Israeli evacuation orders which shrink Gaza down more and more.

This is hell—sheer, unmitigated hell. Made in USA, and brought to you by the state of Israel

FUCKING USELESS

If you watched the brainless " debate" last night, hopefully you've realized how fucked up and hopeless they all fucking are.
Finger pointing, accusations, and everyone trying to jump on the patriotic bandwagon.
Did even one of those assholes denounce the over 78 million dollars worth of artillery propellants the kkkanadian government is sending to the fascist state of israel ? Of course fucking not !
I'm sure they'd be quick to talk about the paltry " aid " they've sent to Gaza, while at the same time delivering the reason that aid is needed in the first place.

Fuck polievre, carny, and singh. Fucking parasites, all of them.

MORE WAR CRIMES

At the beginning of the genocide against the Palestinians of Gaza, the fascist israeli government and military said they were only going to bomb  " military targets " and avoid civilian casualties. But soon after that, everything became a military target, and now any pretense of not trying to commit genocide is gone. They are getting away with it mostly due to the unconditional support of the u.s.a., no matter which asshole is in power.

Bombing hospitals is a fucking war crime.

FUCKFACE TRUMP AND THAT MUSKY WEASEL

This is a wonderful sign that all is not lost in the good ol' u.s. fuckin' a. Apparently the people are not a faceless mob of fascist sheep as many would believe.

This is more than inspirational and needs to be taken higher .

‘Hands Off’ protesters rally across US to oppose Trump’s policies

Tens of thousands of opponents of US President Donald Trump and his adviser, billionaire Elon Musk, have joined rallies across the United States to protest against the administration’s actions to overhaul the government and expand presidential authority.

More than 1,200 “Hands Off” rallies were expected on Saturday, with organisers anticipating the largest single-day mobilisation opposing the administration’s recent initiatives.

Protest sites included the National Mall in Washington, DC, and locations in all 50 US states. Organisers estimated more than 250,000 people participated nationwide.

Reporting from Washington, DC, Al Jazeera’s Mike Hanna said the crowd there voiced their discontent over the administration’s sweeping executive actions and the restructuring led by Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The reforms have resulted in the elimination of more than 200,000 federal positions and significant reductions in benefits, particularly within the Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration.

“This is one of the biggest demonstrations we’ve seen since Trump began his second term, and it’s perhaps indicative of the rising frustration among Americans,” said Hanna, who also noted the diverse composition of the protesters, spanning various age groups.

“Protest organisers have been saying this is not going to lead to immediate change, but it’s an important moment to show that many Americans oppose what Donald Trump stands for,” said Hanna.

In Chicago, thousands of demonstrators rallied in the downtown area. Reporting from the protest site, Al Jazeera’s John Hendren said it was “largely a union crowd”.

“These people are concerned about their jobs … These people are mostly citizens, they are Chicagoans and their message to the Trump administration and Elon Musk is ‘hands off'”, he said.

In New York, demonstrators gathered in Bryant Park, holding signs reading “Unplug Elon” and “I can only write this because there used to be a Department of Education.”

Privacy Policy

Kelley Robinson, president of the Human Rights Campaign, addressed a rally in Washington, criticising the government’s treatment of marginalised communities. “The attacks that we’re seeing, they’re not just political. They are personal, y’all,” she said, reported AFP.

Similar protests were held in Atlanta, Boston, Miami, and Charlotte, with crowds demanding action on immigration, healthcare and workers’ rights.

International protests

Around the world, US expatriates and local supporters assembled in cities including Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris and London.

In Paris, approximately 200 demonstrators, predominantly Americans, gathered at Place de la Republique, displaying banners with messages like “Resist Tyrant,” “Rule of Law,” and “Feminists for Freedom not Fascism.”

Timothy Kautz, a spokesperson for Democrats Abroad, emphasised the importance of global solidarity. “We have to show solidarity with all the demonstrations in a thousand cities today in the USA,” he told Reuters.

Ezra Levin, co-founder of Indivisible, one of the organising groups, speaking to Reuters said, “This is an enormous demonstration that is sending a very clear message to Musk and Trump and congressional Republicans and all the goose-stepping allies of MAGA that we don’t want their hands on our democracy, on our communities, on our schools and our friends and our neighbours.”

The White House has defended the administration’s actions.

Assistant press secretary Liz Huston stated, “President Trump’s position is clear: He will always protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for eligible beneficiaries. Meanwhile, the Democrats’ stance is giving Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare benefits to illegal aliens, which will bankrupt these programs and crush American seniors.”

Pro-Palestinian groups also participated in the Washington demonstrations, protesting against the US administration’s support for Israel’s renewed military actions in Gaza and the crackdown on campus protests.
