Just a few things before I go away with the family for a few days.......
I've been listening to Suicidal Tendencies and DRI recently. No, it's not nostalgia, it's good fucking music, so fuck you. And yes, it was on cassette. Not an old tape, but a fairly new one I made myself. My tape collection is growing, not disappearing. And I'm not a hipster. Imagine that.
kkkanada's foreign affairs minister, and apologist for israeli fascism, john baird, is a fucking tool. But then again, so is everyone in government. I would love for this fucking moron to go and live in the Gaza Strip, and see how the israeli government is actually attempting to "spare civilian targets". Fucking imbecile. Just look at him.
What a fucking thick-faced swine. Fuck him.
I got to hang with Jay Walls of Vile Intent at the beginning of the month, and we attended one of the shows that was part of the Jak's Team Reunion weekend. It was a lot of fun, and it's always great to see Jay. It was awesome to see some old friends, and happy to see some people alive, who I mistakenly thought were not. Fuck yes.
And one last thought. If you were a soldier, let's say for some lesser imperialist country who generally served as support for some other greater imperialist country, and you were sent to some place in the name of "freedom" and "democracy", or some other such indefinable illusory bullshit, but once you got there, you saw it was all crap, and instead of being treated as the hero you were told you were, no one wanted you there, so you got to hate everyone in the country you had invaded and ransacked, so you didn't give a shit about who you killed, (after all, you are the "good guys"), and once you got home, you came to the realization that your head is a little bit fucked, but the government who sent you to fight said you were faking it and didn't offer you any help, but only disdain and the cold shoulder. What do you think should happen to the government? In my opinion, nothing good, my friends, nothing good. Fuck blind patriotism. It is poison, and worse.
See ya in a few days.
