The killing of the 12 people who worked at a French satirical magazine yesterday was horrible, but not at all surprising. This entire thing must be seen in the context of what is going on in the world as a whole, and not just the one dimensional media inspired " look at those muslim maniacs" hysterical bullshit.
Muslim civilians in several countries are being killed by western bombs and troops almost daily. And on top of that, western media feels the need to defile what little they have left, all in the name of "freedom of speech", of course. This is nothing to do with "freedom vs. fundamentalism". This is cause and effect. Shit is going to happen, and no one should be surprised. There has been some media speculation as to whether or not this will finally push France to join the fight against "extremists" in other countries, but of course they don't realize ( mostly because they are fucking idiots), that it's this new crusade that's the cause of everything in the first fucking place.
These are the chickens coming home to roost.
