The Mags were fucking great, and it seems to me that Matt is playing more solos. Fuckin' rights. They are tight, and the songs are catchy. They have just started recording, and I look forward to getting the finished product. I did get an awesome Mags t-shirt, though.
The Binz were loud, hook laden rock and roll. Their sound at times reminded me of Leatherface, but without the gruff vocals. I bought a tape and CD from them, and it is as good as I thought it would be.
