These are days in which it is easy to become pessimistic. The rich imperialist nations seem all powerful, while at the same time look like they're rotting from the inside, there are more refugees from wars and the "natural" workings of the system than ever before, and the rights of women seem to be under attack everywhere. But my optimism lies in the fact that people never cease to fight back. Whether under an organized vanguard party like in The Philippines and India, or not, like in Iraq and Afghanistan ( both of which wars the imperialists are fucking losing), the people do not stop struggling against oppression. And they will not stop fighting, or stop looking for ways to finally end that oppression.
