For all of those assholes who missed it, the Show on Saturday was fucking great ! The Old Derelicts from Vancouver were excellent old school hardcore/punk, and are now embarking on a tour. If you like your music inspired by real life experiences, Negative Approach, skateboarding, and all things both negative and positive, this shit is for you. Plus, they are awesome guys. Check them out, assholes. Their LP is superb.
Also rounding out the bill were The Mags , Victoria's favourite rock/punk band. Their high energy set was perfect for opening up the night, and their encore was totally well deserved. Get their CD. Fuck yes.
And yes, AK-47 ended the night, and a great time was had by all. The turnout was good, and I'd like to thank Chuck & Esther from 737 productions for putting on this wonderful show, and many many other quality musical acts in this city. They are amazing people with their hearts in the right place. Support them.
