Maybe it's the times we're living in, but lately I've been listening to this album:
It was written while bush jr. was in office, but everything is just as relevant today, if not even more so. Paris is one of those uncompromisingly militant MCs, not toning it down for labels, radio, video, whatever. In fact, the song "Bush Killa" from an earlier album, got him kicked off the Tommy Boy label , and he's remained on the fringes ever since. But you will never hear him glorify "pimpin'", or any other exploitative bullshit. This is a fucking heavy hitter. Listen to it.
And while you're at it, listen to this also :
Overall, his message and Revolutionary stance are fantastic, but there are certain sexist tendencies I can do without. But still, good stuff for these fucked up times we're living in.
Good day.
