Last night I saw the magnificent Vancouver hardcore band Policy Of Truth . Straight up no nonsense beefy two guitar attack with raging nihilistic vocals, reminiscent of Negative Approach, of whom they happened to do a cover. Their tape is fucking awesome. Go see them when you get the chance . Before them were Victoria locals Shallow End . Unapologetic metallic ( at times ) tight mid-tempo hardcore, delivered in the style Victoria was into in the early 2000s. This is not a diss . I'm happy these guys are bringing it back. They fucking do it well.
