It started out looking like it was going to be a dud because of a show going on at another venue, but once the music started, people were making their way in. Money was raised for AVI so they can continue their fine work and keep on saving lives.
The Skidmarxists were fucking tremendous, with Scott Henderson proving his resilience with the varied types of music he can master. In this case, it's way more punk/hardcore than some of his other projects. That, and they fucking hate trump, so it's a win-win.
The Dayglos were in top form, having just come back from a tour down the west coast. They started out their set with "Your Facebook Can Kiss My Assbook ", which is a fucking ripper of a song, and I love the title. Blind Mark was powering both The Skidmarxists and The Dayglos with his powerful drumming. And as for AK-47, we were good too.
It was a great night. Thanks to Hermione for having us play. She is in this with all of her heart.
