The government is once again playing on people's fears in order to get them to comply with whatever they want the people to comply with. They will go along with the lockdown unquestioningly and enthusiastically, and act as cops and informers when they see others not following the accepted narrative .
Of course coronavirus is real and people with pre-existing health conditions are dying , but here are the actual numbers taken from the CTV News site, and not some fringe wacko website .
"Since the coronavirus pandemic began, there have been 24,960 confirmed infections in the province and 321 deaths".
This is just from last night . The percentage of deaths is roughly 1.28 % , and it isn't indicated how many of that 1.28% already had severe health problems.
Also :
"The health officials said there are currently 6,929 active cases of the virus in B.C. Of that total, 217 people are in hospital, and 59 of those are in intensive care units."
So 3.13 % of the currently diagnosed people are in the hospital , and 59 or 0.85% are in Intensive Care.
I know that everyone has their own theories on how this should be handled and it's splitting families and friends into opposing camps , but I prefer to look at the numbers and make up my own mind. I just think that people should think for themselves instead of going into panic mode and trusting everything the government says .
