The 12 year old girl who died of a heroin overdose was failed by everyone around her. Apparently she had OD'd three times before the final one, when she must have been 11 years old. Where the fuck were her parents ? Where was the fucking health authority ? Why did they let her go when she was a middle school child so clearly fucked up on drugs ? What kind of a fucking lowlife dealer sells this shit to children ? Well, a lowlife heroin dealer I guess....Her Mom said something to the effect that kids shouldn't be afraid to say they've been using drugs. True enough, but everyone should be afraid of fucking heroin , especially these days.
Sure, the system failed her, but so did everyone .
