Paris: Powerful Maoist demonstration
A powerful Maoist demonstration took place in the suburbs of Paris on 24 September 2022.
Despite a police ban, the demonstration was successfully organised in a working-class neighbourhood. With red flags, hammers and sickles and a portrait of Chairman Gonzalo, the demonstration was proof of the struggle for Maoist unity in France and the defence of Chairman Gonzalo and his all-powerful thought around the world. Slogans were chanted as well as songs, speeches were given in French and Spanish. Passers-by and local residents wanted to know more about the demonstration and some greeted it by raising their fists or shouting slogans.
