There has been a common argument from the side of people who support the massacre of Palestinian civilians by the israeli army, that goes, " What, did you expect the israeli government to do nothing in the face of Hamas' terrorist attacks ?" The problem with this stupidity is that israel already have been "doing" for years, which is one of the many reasons this happened in the first place. israel is an apartheid state, and they have been disproportionately killing Palestinian civilians for decades, not to mention bulldozing houses and not allowing the people to rebuild, and the list goes on and on. And sadly, so does the oppression of the Palestinian population....
