Tomorrow night is the annual Jay Brown Memorial and Cancer Clinic Benefit Show at Logan's. We'll be playing with such luminaries as The Keg Killers, The Hoosegow, Lesbian Fist Magnet, and Alcoholic White Trash. Despite the various bands coming from vastly different punk/hardcore traditions, it's always a great time, and for a worthy cause. This year's show is all the more poignant due to the passing of long time artist/skateboarder/musician, Jamer. It seems that he was a friend or acquaintance of everyone in this godforsaken town. It will be a time to remember, a time to forget, and for many, a time to get totally fucked up. For me, it will be a time to reflect on how precious our time together is, and how wonderful and crazy our little scene here in Victoria actually is. I hope to see you all there.
