There is some "addictions expert" giving a talk in Victoria about how forced rehab doesn't work, and people need to decide for themselves that they want to get clean. She is also talking about the "unintended consequences" of the cost to our already "overstretched" healthcare system.
Is this what makes someone a fucking expert? Isn't it fucking obvious that you will always be more successful no matter what it is you want to do, if you are not coerced and doing it of your own free will?! And as far as the overstretched healthcare system and it's cost, this is the problem when you live by and accept all of the twisted fucking values placed on us by this system. If we lived in a society that was meant to serve the people and not profit, this wouldn't be a fucking issue. Even when talking about imperialist war and the slaughter of civilians perpetrated by the western powers, the cringing liberals talk about the cost, even before they mention the bloodshed.
Fucking imbeciles. They also like to talk about whether a war is legal or not. Who gives a fuck? If they made it "legal" ( on their own terms of course ) would that justify it? Hell no. Fuck them and their laws. Making it "legal" doesn't make it fucking moral or right in any fucking sense.
