The most difficult part of consolidating the Revolutionary power will be in the destroying of old habits and ideas that the people have had indoctrinated into them. There is very little critical thought going on when it comes to the media, education, and social media crap. You will often hear "experts" on politics talk about the grey uniformity of "communism", and particularly of Soviet communism, when that country had nothing on the imperialists of today. You will hear people repeat endlessly the horrors of "Stalinism" without questioning any of the numbers, or sources of those numbers, while at the same time accepting that the western "democratic" powers are trying to do good in the world, even if they are sometimes misguided. This type of robotic thinking crosses class lines, and you will have the poorest of the poor talking about things as if they have any say at all in how this shit is run. As I have said, the Soviets could only dream about having this sort of self-censorship and absolute indoctrination and blind obedience at their service.
And that is why it's important to question everything, and find the sources for all of the information that you read/hear about. I have no doubt that the imperialist system can and will be destroyed through Revolution and something better put in it's place, but it will take a tremendous amount of work and sacrifice to make it happen. But it can happen , and it must happen for the sake of the world.
