Tonight's show was wonderful , and was brought to us by Dan from the band Bug. It was a great turnout, despite being sandwiched between The Real Mackenzies the night before , and The Dayglos tomorrow night ( see you there!).
Skin Crawl were fucking intense with an electric energy , and a drummer who kept a frenetic pace for their entire set. I am super excited to see more of them.
Bug are a steamroller , and will crush anything in their path , with some cool guitar playing .
I was saddened to learn of Isoclast's drummer's health issues causing him to not be able to play tonight, and I hope he gets better soon . They will be playing on the 17th at The Phoenix , so go ! Please. What I heard tonight was catchy rock and roll punk , so I can't wait to hear them with their drummer back.
It was a lovely community atmosphere , and everyone ( hopefully ) went home happy.
