The Dayglos show last night at The Upstairs Lounge ( the old Harpo's ) was fucking wonderful !
The young upstarts The Chain started out the evening, and they just get better and better . Simply marvelous. Jason must be a proud Papa.
Human Issue Music Collective were intense hardcore, but the sound was weird for them. Something to do with compression or some such shit. Bland name , exciting stage presence.
The Gnar Gnars were energetic, entertaining, and awesome ! They alone were worth the price of admission.
The Dayglos had some of the craziest crowd action I've seen in a while. It was all good sportsmanship though, and as far as I know no one got hurt.
They were fucking loud . Murray can still play and sing like a crazed maniacal motherfucker, and Blind Marc on drums is a fucking machine gun. Matt's enthusiasm is unmatched. He loves playing bass in the Dayglos and it shows , above and fucking beyond.
Great crowd , great music, and I'm glad I took the day off today.
