White House statement on 2023 ‘accomplishments’ includes supporting Israel
In a post on X, the White House has laid out a series of actions it says it has accomplished in 2023, including strengthening “democracy at home and abroad”.
Under that category, it lists standing up for “our allies and partners in Israel and Ukraine”.
The Biden administration has come under criticism from Arab and Muslim countries as well as pro-Palestine activists, UN agencies and human rights advocates for supporting Israel at the UN and providing it with weapons and ammunition as the death toll in Gaza rises.
